About

Portrait of Maya Chen, product designer

I'm Maya — a product designer who cares less about pretty screens and more about whether people finish the flow. For eight years I've worked with SaaS and fintech teams to turn confusing onboarding and checkout into products that convert.

I work solo, embedded with your team, from first research call to shipped UI. No handoff gaps, no mystery files.

FAQ

How long does a project take?

Most engagements run four to eight weeks. A focused onboarding or checkout redesign usually lands in four; a full design system takes six to eight.

What do you charge?

Project fees start at $12k for a focused flow and $25k for a design system. I quote a fixed price after a short scoping call, so there are no surprise hours.

When are you available?

I'm currently booking for May 2027. I take one project at a time, so earlier conversations get priority on the calendar.
